The latest Alienware m15 is slim and strong, weighing just 4.65 pounds and measuring under 20.5mm thin, 360.3mm wide, and 276.2mm long. The m15 was designed from the ground up with premium magnesium alloy materials that save weight while minimising thickness and providing a stiffer, more stable frame - all while retaining a sleek appearance. The Alienware m15 has a new surface coating that prevents fingerprint smearing and other common stains without altering the hue or colour of the screen. A High Performance Clear Coat is a stain-resistant solution that allows you to feel the cool and durable magnesium-alloy inside our award-winning high-contrast colour strategy.
ADVANCED ALIENWARE CRYO-TECH
Advanced Alienware Cryo-Tech, our newest thermal technology, is an engineering solution that ensures an Alienware system's gaming performance is never affected by electrical or mechanical methods while preserving system stability during peak performance. This is accomplished via a variety of methods, including heat dissipation through innovative thermal module designs, fan and fan motor design, exhaust and intake layouts, and overall airflow impedance. The CPU fan blades have been increased by 9mm in diameter, while the GPU fan blades have been increased by 4mm in diameter.
Vapor Chamber Technology: Alienware's latest Vapor Chamber Technology employs sophisticated heat dissipation techniques. Between the CPU and the copper heat pipes on the latest Alienware m15 is a dedicated vapour chamber. All is set up to monitor thermal flow and optimise performance. The phase-changing nature of liquid is used in these chambers to transfer heat more efficiently than a solid piece of metal or copper heat pipes. Vapor Chambers are also more flexible than copper heat pipes in that they can be built to evenly distribute cooling over an entire chip.
Dual-intake, dual-exhaust airflow design: Our thin and light chassis prioritises performance with a dual fan configuration that pulls cool air in from the top and bottom vents and exhales exhaust out the back and side vents for optimum cooling of the core components.
High-voltage driving fan: The fire-resistant, Kevlar-like liquid-crystal polymer fan blades have sleeve bearings and 3-phase fan control to minimise friction and help circulate air. Both the CPU and GPU are now cooled by 132 different fan blades.
Heat pipes for load balancing: The dynamics of thermal operation around crucial components such as the GPU and CPU are intelligently discharged across four 3.5mm copper-composite heat pipes.
